Long-time fan of Gilda Radner finds support at club named after late comedian.

Long-time Gilda's Club GT member, Julie.

Julie Ugar once knew what it was like to face cancer alone, but a childhood hero gave her hope things didn’t have to stay that way.

Long before she was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 39, Julie was a fan of comedian Gilda Radner, and heard about the cancer support charity in Toronto named in Gilda’s honour. Google chooses Gilda’s Club as their charity of choice during “Google Serve Week”! Google did a fantastic job volunteering their time to keep the clubhouse clean, organized & sparkling. Thank you Google!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Trillium Digital Resource Centre is a welcomed addition to the programming offered at Gilda's Club Greater Toronto.
