A structured support group for children ages 4 -12 that have lost a family member or friend to cancer. This is an opportunity for children to share feelings & learn new methods to cope with life & family changes.
Kids Talk Out
A structured support group for children ages 4 – 12 who are living with cancer, & children who have a loved one with a diagnosis. Children participate in age appropriate activities which teach them about cancer and how to manage their feelings surrounding their experiences.
Thursdays, October 11 to November 29 6:30-8:00pm
A group that is dedicated to helping teens develop coping mechanisms and express grief in a healthy way when faced with the loss of a family member or friend to cancer. This group gives teens an opportunity to talk openly and share their experiences with other teens that have had a similar loss.
Our teen group is a designed to give teens a space where they can feel comfortable to hang out and connect with other teens who are touched by cancer. Group time is spent participating in various activities and talking about the impact that cancer has had on their lives. Teen corner is open to both teens that have someone in their family living with cance.
