Board of Directors


BOB RICHARDSON, Chair, Board of Directors
President of the Devon Group, Bob has more than 20 years of experience providing strategic communications advice to clients in the public and private sectors.  Bob has worked at senior levels in  the provincial government and in international and national initiatives including Olympic bids and the upcoming PanAm Games. He has served on the Board of Governors for Carleton University and Seneca College and the Ontario Media Development Corporation.

CONNIE CRADDOCK, Vice Chair
Recently retired as Vice President, Public Affairs at the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, Connie has experience in communications, public affairs and community relations. She has also worked in the Ontario government, in broadcasting ( TVO and Global TV) and as a teacher.

LAURA AARON
Senior Director of MMPI Canada, with responsibilities for overseeing real estate sector conferences and expositions hosting up to 24,000 people, Laura brings expertise in real estate investment, land development, architecture and green development. She has an MBA degree and has served on several other non profit boards of directors.

JOE BELFONTAINE
Directors of Government Relations at Canadain Tire, Joe has worked in communications positions in government ( including Chief of Staff to the Minister of Health Promotion and in the office of the Premier of Ontario) and the private sector. He is a graduate of Carleton University.

WES HENRY
Vice President of Finance, at the Investment Industry Organization of Canada, Wes brings nearly 4 decades of experience in accounting and finance, both in the private sector and currently at IIROC, a non profit securities industry regulator.

FRED LEVY
Senior Principal and owner of Fred Levy, Chartered Accountant, Fred brings not only his extensive business and financial expertise to our Board but also his long time passion and commitment to Gilda’s Club in his critically important role as Co Producer of our It’s Always Something variety Show.

JASON VANDERHEYDEN
Government Policy Leader for GE Healthcare Canada, he oversees all government affairs activities for GE HealthCare Canada. He has also worked in the Ontario government  ( Minister of Education and Premier’s Office)and has been a Gilda’s runner in the David Pecaut  5 k run.

MELISSA LYNCH
As a lawyer with Cassels Brock, Melissa’s practice focuses on all areas of municipal, planning and environmental law. She has also worked at the Ministry of the Attorney General and while in law school was a caseworker with the Community and Legal Aid Services Program.

LAURA ZAMPROGNA
Vice President, Games, Planning, and Operations at Cannon Design Ltd, Laura has worked in the field of international sports having worked on several Olympic bids, and major sporting events. She has been a volunteer at It’s Always Something for several years.
