Fiona Cuddy, President of QFS

Over the years, the connection has become more personal for Fiona

“We believe in family. We care about our advisors and team members. They should not have to face their challenges alone,”

says Fiona Cuddy, President of financial services company QFS, the Presenting Sponsor of Gilda’s Toronto 2022 Golf Tournament.

Gilda’s Toronto’s motto that no one should face cancer alone truly resonates with Fiona and her team. QFS has supported Gilda’s Toronto for over 20 years because their values of offering a supportive environment for their advisors connect so well with Gilda’s Toronto’s support to its members experiencing cancer-related stress. Their advisors consistently praise QFS’s approach: “I feel like I have joined a team/family that truly cares about my success.”

Gilda’s Toronto supports those affected by cancer to help them restore a sense of control in their lives, reduce stress and isolation and learn to manage their care during and after treatment. And because cancer doesn’t just affect the cancer patient, we also provide support to caregivers, family members and friends, and those who have lost someone to cancer. Gilda’s Toronto helps people live while living with cancer.

Over the years, the connection has become more personal for Fiona – when her close friend received a diagnosis, Fiona called Gilda’s Toronto because she knew she would get the kind of support she needed.

The funds raised by the Gilda’s Toronto Annual Golf Tournament provide psychosocial support for teens, adults, and caregivers, webinars on everything from nutrition to cancer education, and healthy lifestyle programming, including yoga and meditation. Join QFS in supporting Gilda’s Toronto on August 9 at Eagles Nest Golf Club. Play a round on the course or enjoy a meal and an evening of entertainment with Juno nominated musician and speaker Peter Katz or join the action by bidding during the silent or live auction.
